Transitional Living Program
The goal of the Transitional Living Program is to provide a safe and stable home for youth transitioning out of foster care or those youth who are homeless.

The foster care component works in conjunction with the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services. The homeless component is a grant that is part of the federal initiative for runaway and homeless. Both components aim to encourage youth to assume greater responsibility for their transition and to become productive citizens.

This program is available to youth between the ages of 18 and 21, and provides assistance with:

bullet Rent
bullet Utilities
bullet Life Skills Training (money management, employment, household maintenance)

Open Arms, Inc. is the only provider for the Transitional Living Program in Southwest Georgia.
